The mystic properties of this ancient herb were first recorded more than 4,000 years ago by the Kemites. They regarded this herb as powerful and necessary for the embalming ritual of their Pharaohs. The priestess and priest of Kemite would often prescribe this herb for infertility. Today, this widely popular herb is burned before meditations to induce relaxation and mindfulness. New Mexico White Sage produces a lighter fragrance than it’s California cousin and is grown along rivers and the ridges of mountains. People indigenous to New Mexico, like myself, have used White Sage to cure stomach aliments when ingested and to protect the participants during rituals and ceremonies for hundreds of years. This herb is seeded, grown, and harvested by myself in limited numbers as it is a sacred herb and should be regarded as such when utilizing.
